Female Founder Pitching Event

On Thursday 05 May it was time to pitch again for our Female Founders and search for an investor. After receiving such positive feedback from the event in previous years, we were happy continue the series of our Female Founders Pitching Event

After all attendees arrived at the Google Office in Zurich, Bélen Bolliger, founder of OiOiOi Baby and Antonia Albert principle at Wingman Ventures shared insights on financing and investment. What do investors particularly value? How do you approach the search for investors? How can you tell that an investor is a good match and partner for your business? With a female investor and a female founder we had the perfect constellation for an informative and interesting panel. Afterwards, it was time for our power women to pitch. After all, we want to connect female founders with potential early-stage investors at the event and give them the chance to receive an investment. A total of 20 inspiring personalities pitched their innovative ideas to 5 investors and thereby moved a step closer to their goal of taking their business to the next level. We were overwhelmed by the great variety and potential of the startups. Areas such as health, interio, fashion, environment and technology were covered (The individual startups and its mission are listed below). We are always happy to see the hard effort, passion and love behind the ideas. At the following apero, which was provided by google, we connected diligently. We had great conversations and could make many new contacts. A big thank you to ETH Zurich and HSG Sankt-Gallen for their cooperation and collaboration in organizing the event. Our warmest appreciation also goes to the participants - they created a unique energy and atmosphere full of positivity and goodwill which made the evening something very special. We look forward to the continuation of our event in October 2022.
